| New beginnings....time for a change.
www.xanga.com/just_a_journey <---come see me at my new home
| Last night when I came home both my parents were crying. They decided that it's time for Dad to leave. Trust is gone...hearts are broken. So now it's me and Mom and my brother. We took Dad's stocking that looks like a converse shoe off the mantel. I cried. But not very much. Relief? I'm not sure. I have been expecting it for months... But it still hurts... :(
I need prayers...and hugs.

| So I walk into school this morning. With a 3 and 1/2-foot-tall wooden Christmas tree. An "Adventskalendar" (<--German) that my grandpa built. To show my German teacher. Michael: "Oh...my...God...Frau Hoffman is gonna sh** her pants." Ha. That was rather humorous...
I'm praying for snow...yep. I so deserve a snow day. Have you ever pondered the gender of random inatimate objects? My brother and I went on the annual Christmas tree hunt tonight...after long searching, we settled for a sparse ten dollar tree from Super Wal-Mart. Cause it's a tree, you know? Anyways, Christmas trees are totally male, right? I mean "Doug" fir? Blue spruce? Pretty darn masculine. That's what I thought till Mom whipped out the good old tree "skirt." Poor guy...or is it a girl? We may never know...
Mr. Watson was all stressed during Jazz Band...and today the cookie dough came in during 8th period. So Watson decided to open the containers he bought, bust out a bunch of forks, and give us jazz band kids globs of raw dough. I was in heaven. And for the record, we have the best band director ever.

Ground Rules: The First player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 weird habits of yourself", and people who get tagged need to write a Xanga entry about their 5 weird habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says, "You are tagged" in their Xanga and tell them to read yours.
1) After I say something out loud, I repeat it to myself...apparently my lips move as I do this and people get a kick out of it...at my expense. :( 2) I don't like icing, or the white stuff in oreoes. So I usually scrape it off and discretely place it on my neighbor's plate. 3) When I'm sitting with both feet on the floor, I always bounce my right knee...I'm pretty sure it's not on purpose, but I can stop if I really have to. 4) I think is sorta weird, considering my age...Anyways, each night before I go to sleep I check in my bathroom, in the tub, under my guest bed, and in my closet; then I shut all my doors and close my blinds. I guess people scare me a little..hehe. 5) My brother and I experiment with different ways to drink beverages that come in bottles...and sometimes when no one's watching, I pretend to be drinking alcohol like I'm all cool...or something. Ha. :)
I'm tagging Julie, Mike, Stephanie, Layla, and Brad. Like they'll do it..,

| I like my Friday morning breakfast outings with Patrick. And usually Allison. But she forgot yesterday. Or something. Patrick tried to call her over his special watch... me - "Is she answering?" Patrick [putting his ear to his Burger King watch] "No." me - "Hmmm..." Patrick - "Must be in a dead spot." Who knew?
I really like MVNU. It's a nice place. The Messiah sounded great too. And I saw lots of people I haven't seen in ages. From Fair Choir: Rachel Miller, Audra, Nate McKenna, and Laura Hummel. :) From CEH: Josh and Dusty!!!! I was real excited. I gave Josh a really big hug and I'm pretty sure the entire chapel was staring at us...a large man with red hair and a beard, and an over-dressed highschool girl screaming with happiness. Oh well. Dusty sat with me at lunch and I filled him in on what's been happening with my family since August. He's a great person. It was nice to talk to him. I slept all the way home...Nathan makes an excellent pillow...ha.
Last night me, Don, and Jessica went with Tim and Joni and thier nephew, Zach, to a thing. I'm not really sure what it was supposed to be....so I'll just call it that. It consisted of a few tables in a really small fellowship hall at Dresden Presbyterian, pizza and chips, a few kids, some older people from other small Presbyterian churches, and a band. Called E-Faith. We did some hard core praise and worship...and for the first time it was the people from my church who seemed like "those cool people" who know contemporary Christian music. Ha. That was so a first. Tim Johnson is the greatest...I'm so glad he came to our church. Anyways, I talked to the piano player for the band for a while afterwards..super cool. He gave me all his contact stuff so I can get him in touch with Echoing Hills.
Today: CYC practice in the morning, me and Nathan hanging out, Certified Gold at Festival of Trees.
"All good things must come to an end. Even life." - Pastor at Dresden Pres. "On that note, drive home." - Tim :) I like to smile...

| Sometimes teachers make me mad. Gosh.
I wore my skirt today. You know, that one? Yeah. It was hot.
Youth chorale: I rode my bike. Twenty-five minute ride from my dwelling place. And I had to go up Cambridge. Where all those scary Coshocton people live... :) Erinn makes me smile. So does Derek. Ha. Then we went to Tim Horton's. Or rode. Or whatever. It was real cold and I almost got run over...but I make that bicycle look good. Yep. I so totally do.
Do you and your mom do "Sweatin' to the Oldies with Richard Simmons" in your living room? Yeah. Didn't think so...
